[VERIFIED] First arriving units report a one story commercial building at the intersection, with light smoke coming from the rear of the building. Initial calls reported a possible explosion. After investigating the new construction property, the cause of smoke is undermined. Arson units are responding to investigate. After initial reports of an injured/burned person, firefighter's were unable to locate a patient at the location. An additional call for a 36M suffering from burn injuries was received, with a location multiple blocks from the fire. It is unknown at this time if the two incidents are related. LAPD INC #2287. Nothing further.
