[VERIFIED] Two vehicles discovered well-involved with fire inside the structure. Knockdown in 19 minutes with approximately 55 firefighters working on scene. Extensive searches are being conducted through the vacant building -- no injuries reported at this time. Companies remain on scene for overhaul and have requested LADBS for structural assessment. South Broadway St. is currently closed to traffic surrounding the incident -- LADOT and LAPD (INC#2760) are assisting.
[VERIFIED] One-story commercial building, approximately 100' x 50', with heavy smoke showing upon fire department arrival. Crews are proceeding in offensive mode and have requested additional fire companies. While the building appears vacant, crews will perform full rescue searches per protocol for all structure fires -- no victims or injuries reported at this time.
