[VERIFIED] LAFD Heavy Equipment crews are coordinating the removal of large amounts of burning debris from the building. RS3, LAFD's firefighting robot, will be entering the compromised structure and providing extinguishment in areas not safe for firefighter access. This will be an extended overhaul operation with no further updates expected.

[VERIFIED] Firefighters are making good progress on this fire, beginning to carefully access the interior of the building in order to achieve full extinguishment. While knockdown has not officially been declared, Incident Command has deemed the fire under control -- companies will be on scene for an extended period of time cooling hotspots and overhauling damage.

[VERIFIED] Having identified heavy fire load inside both the primary building and the exposure, high-voltage lines in the vicinity, and major forcible entry issues, Incident Command has ordered companies into a defensive posture with a focus on exposure protection. One LAFD member has been injured (unknown cause/condition). Approximately 90 firefighters are working on scene. LAPD INC#1209.

[VERIFIED] One-story commercial building with fire showing from the front, suspected to have extended into the structure from a fire originally burning outside. First-arriving companies are forcing entry into the building to enable fire attack -- one additional building has been identified at risk, which is being prioritized for fire protection. All employees are confirmed out of the building, with no injuries reported at this time. LAPD and LADWP notified.
