[VERIFIED] This incident was modified from a Physical Rescue assignment: Plane down, initial reports suggest that it is a single plane, possible Cessna type with 1 patient who was the pilot. Patient is a male. Age of patient and his medical condition and/or injuries are unconfirmed at time. Patient has been transported to a local area hospital. High voltage lines are down through out the immediate area. DWP power is working on securing the power to the lines and LAPD are evacuating local businesses and residences as needed for safety. Approx. 40 LAFD personnel onscene.
[VERIFIED] BC10 providing a size-up of one airplane which crashed into high-tension power lines. Power lines are down along Van Nuys Blvd and crossing over to Pala Ave. Impacted area of S of Judd, W of Pala, N of Van Nuys and E of Stutter Ave. BC10 requesting additional engine company and paramedic rescue.
[VERIFIED] Initial reports of high voltage power lines down near Ralston and Van Nuys. Reports of a plane down in the area. LAFD units onscene reporting 1 pt extricated at this time.
Paramedic Rescue 98 is transporting who is believed to be the injured pilot. No other injuries reported at this time.

A Cessna aircraft is reportedly overturned in an O’Reillys parking lot in Pacoima, near Whiteman Airport (WHP). Single occupant extricated by fire department personnel. No other injuries or structure damage reported at this time.
