[VERIFIED] LAFD coordinated with LA County Fire Department, LA Port PD and US Coast Guard for an extensive search for the missing jet ski operator. No person was located. US Coast Guard (Sector LA) has determined the incident to be static. All LAFD resources are discontinuing the search. No injuries reported to LAFD members. Nothing further.
[VERIFIED] LAFD boats and helicopters are actively searching for a person presumed to have fallen off a jet ski near 1 LA Light. The Sea-Doo was spotted running with no operator aboard.
After extensive search no person was found
